LICengineering employs approximately 25 people, working from office in Esbjerg. Our staff primarily consists of naval architechts and offshore engineers with either a Ms.C or Ph.D. degree, the rest of the workforce is made up of skilled draftsmen and administrative staff. We provide our customers with innovative, cost-efficient and less time consuming solutions within the offshore energy sector.
Founder & History
LICengineering was founded in 1986, by Niels-Erik Ottesen Hansen. The company office was located in Copenhagen, but due to our growth we had to move our Head Office to a bigger office in Hellerup, North of Copenhagen. Other offices were opened in 1992 (Esbjerg). The latest addition to our company was the opening of our Svendborg Office in 2015.
Ownership
LICengineering A/S is a part of the NIRAS Group. In October 2023, LICengineering was acquired by the consulting company NIRAS.
