LICengineering provides primary and secondary steel design for offshore windfarm foundations. We pioneered the first large offshore windfarm foundations: Blyth Harbour, Scroby Sands and North Hoyle in UK waters. LICengineering developed the driven monopile (MP) with welded flange and carried out qualification tests in Esbjerg Harbour, then applying our design on Scroby sands windfarm as the first TP-less design. This concept has now been generally recognized and become industry practice for MP design.
